Where the good weather actually is

The best stretch of weather coming up at each place. Every day gets a rating from 0 to 100 for how pleasant it will actually be outside — 100 is a perfect day, 0 is a washout. It is a rating, not a temperature; the real highs and lows sit right above it. Tap any day for the full forecast.

Weather score 0–100 🥥 95Excellent78Good62Decent47Mixed25Poor How is this worked out?

Warmth is a separate question from comfort — 97°F rates badly for comfort, but if that is exactly what you want, filter for it.

Loading the grid…

How the weather score works — every rating is out of 100

One number, from 0 to 100, for how pleasant a day will actually be outside. Higher is better: 100 is a flawless day, 0 is a day nobody would choose to travel for. It is not a forecast summary — it is a judgement, and here is exactly how it is made.

1

It uses how it feels

Apparent temperature, not the raw number. 75°F–88°F scores full marks. 90°F at 85% humidity in Cancún and 90°F in Phoenix are very different days, and the score treats them that way.

2

Rain counts twice

Both the chance of rain and how much. A 90% chance of drizzle is not the same as a 40% chance of a downpour, so they are scored separately. 3mm or more makes it a "wet day".

3

Sun and wind adjust it

Eight hours of sunshine reads as a full sun day. Wind above 28km/h starts to spoil a beach. Weighting: 45% temperature, 30% rain, 15% sun, 10% wind.

4

Rain and extreme heat are vetoes

This is the important part. A plain average let a warm day outvote a washout — 28mm of rain at 95% chance scored 47/100, and 115°F in Dubai scored higher than a Canadian winter. Both are wrong, so heavy rain and extreme temperature now cap the whole day rather than being averaged away.

What each rating means

85–100
ExcellentComfortable and dry. Outside all day.
70–84
GoodPleasant throughout, maybe one iffy afternoon.
55–69
DecentFine, with some cloud or a shower.
40–54
MixedUsable, but pack for rain or heat.
0–39
PoorWashout, or too hot/cold to enjoy outside.

What it can't tell you: forecasts run 16 days ahead. Past that we show nothing rather than guess — a made-up number at the moment you're spending money is worse than a blank. Trips partly beyond the horizon are marked as such. Data from Open-Meteo, refreshed every six hours.

Why this finds things you'd miss

1

It knows what's normal

Every fare is scored against months of history for that exact route and trip length. "$749" means nothing on its own. "31% under the 120-day median" does.

2

It watches while you don't

Scans run every hour across dozens of destinations and five trip lengths. You get told when something moves, not when you remember to look.

3

It counts the drive

Departing Pittsburgh? Fares from Detroit and Chicago include fuel, parking and the hassle, so a "cheaper" flight isn't cheaper by accident.

4

It re-checks before you book

Prices move and rooms sell out. Tap through to book and we re-query the source live first, then tell you plainly: confirmed, changed, or gone. If it's gone, we show you what's still free that week.

5

It looks past the usual dozen

Most sites rank by what sells, so everybody gets offered the same handful of resorts. We rank by the weather itself, which is how a glorious quiet week somewhere you'd never have been shown ends up beating the obvious choice. 372 destinations across 146 countries: the famous ones included, but never only them.

Alerts are unlimited on paid plans. Searches are capped because each one queries live paid sources. We'd rather cap them than quietly degrade for everyone.
